My boss is so lax in me meeting datelines that I have to make one up for myself. A far cry from my previous academic endeavors. I like his style, but I would further slip down the rabbit hole if I'm not careful enough.

Spent early mornings with my ladies. What more could I ask for?

(D)my boss treat the whole lab to a KL trip (for an exhibition, which he won a gold award)

(E) finished final draft of manuscript to send for publication.


but still...i'm feeling a bit down. i blame TJ's post for making me depressed.

lack of sleep did a number on my cerebral cortex.

i don't mean to think out loud like that. no boss, what i meant was i'm going to do the 1st part today as in doing the 2nd part of sampling tomorrow. not do ALL tomorrow. that will not bode well with your sense of schedule.

drinking Ribena and eating M&M's on an empty stomach is a big no-no. the sugar rush prompted comments like "you look high" and "somebody hide her Ribena, she's drunk".

it's 2.45am already? it feels like it's still...u~mm....yesterday?...confused.

spending weekends doing proximate analysis is something i might wish upon my worst enemy...if i hated that person that much. staring at buchner funnels and distillation units is NOT. FUN. AT ALL.

so much has happened, so many things going on, sometimes it feels like i'm at my wit's end. it doesn't help having him wanting to do everything together. where "everything together" means i'm the one doing ALL the work. and him? "Supervising". sigh~*

ikanrerama's not feeling well....

what great way to wake oneself in the morning but with a throbbing head? not to mention that it's monday of all days, and i have a busy schedule ahead. turns out i had to skip a 9.30 am appointment with the technician (nana, thanx for covering ur senpai's ass).

add to that a mucus-running nose and a sore throat. i put the blame wholly on late nights, inhaling secondhand ciggie smoke, and excessive karaoke sessions during the weekend. oh, the woe of being dragged by overzealous friends all around town. i am so charging u guys with my lung-cancer/throat treatment bills.

downing cough mixtures and paracetamols will only knock me out. unless someone's willing to monitor the GC machine for me, i can't afford to drug myself to stupor.

yay! way to go on living a healthy lifestyle rerama-you-dumb-dongkoi.

Barely breathing

I’m up to my nose with my research work. During this time, God tested my endurance with Impatience and Incompetence. Whose? u asked. I could bitch about them until tomorrow but it’s just not worth it.
And by the way, my block’s washing machine is in repair! I wish I had a magic bottomless pail so I can’t see my dirty laundry’s piling up. Since it’s magic, I wish it can automatically wash them too…huhuhu.
I’m in dire need of new pairs of footwears. Didn’t have a single decent pair to wear to special occasions. one bronze-colored sandal caught my eyes last month. It’ll make a nice match with maroon baju kurung. Or maybe that black bling-bling decorated pair I saw in BJ. Argh!!! I want to go shoe shopping!!!!
And why in the world these undergrads one floor above my room kept on running and screaming in the middle of the night? They’ve startled me countless time. Gila meroyan ke apa?
Damn my friends who’re still tied up with old-school politics. Aren’t we’re all grown ups now? duh…

had the misfortune of colliding into a kancil.demmit.i know,i know...save ur advice.have an earful from ummi olredi(ears still berdengung nih).fortunately nobody was hurt.besides the mild pain at my chest from the seat belt (lucky i was wearing it),and my "unlucky" passengers had the shock of their life (SORRY!!!),nobody was injured.oh...but my poor,poor kenari....sobsob...sorry i didn't take care of u properly my preciousss...i'm so the very,very sorry....huhuhu....kena saman polis lagi(can get discount tak fadzal?).my car was towed to the workshop and the insurance company took care of the rest.my besfren asked me with incredulous tone that izit i did a tokyo drift in penang?yaloh...but didn't make it ler midge.tak cukup fast and furious.and to frenz out there who kept faith with my driving skills...thanx for the support.juz know that it's not error on my side only...heheh.

*Conquistadores!!

went hiking in penang national park with my labmates,an adopted labmate,and a new friend.we thought of catching the sunrise so, we went in at 5.45 am.1st pitstop is at usm marine research station at mukahead.but we can't see it bcoz of the haze and oso my terrible orienteering skill (mukahead...due northeast?east?hurmmm...)

then,we continued our journey to the monkey beach.nice place...
there was a debate whether we should go further on to the lighthouse at tip of penang island.we met this pakcik (who was actually the lighthouse guard) who told us in a warning tone that it was 2 km.2km??eleh...that doesn't sound far.but when we came upon the steep hill track,reality came crushing down on my thick head.demmit lah...i'm not that fit anymore.after huffing and puffing my way up,up the hill...at last,the lighthouse came to view...hooray!!!!

Overall, it was a fun trip wif fun people.next trip,to kerachut we go!!!

i've cut and styled my hair.the hairstylist put loads of mousse and made nice curls.tudung kept my vanity in check though...heheh...should pampered my hair more often.i really like people messing with my head...i mean...hair.

in the spirit of everything boleh lah....i've decided to join my labmates participating the STARwalk which will be held on 10th dec.isn't my lab happening or what??summore we entered the competition:to walk 10km in allocated time.haha...at least it won't be as difficult as the lighthouse track (i think!).

well...guess that's for now.loads more to say actually but later loh....
