my boss went to michigan, USA today. he was awarded the Fulbright Scholar from the US state of department. walau weh....way to go boss!!! i'm so proud of having a boss like you...
so he'll be gone for like 4 months and my labmates & i were asked this ONE question from lecturers, our friends and his wife alike (yes,my boss's wife), "so,how do u feel when he's not around?". people will think that i'll say a loud "very happy!" to it. the truth is if he's gone for only 4 weeks, i'll be ecstatic to be pressure-free. but 4 months is quite a long time. a bit worried bcoz if anything happens to my research he'll be so far,far away...
i can email him, but it's juz not the same as entering his office and hearing him criticizing my results. huhuhu.... let's juz hope and pray that no disasters will occur. if not, die lah.......

departure two:
an undergraduate student from nagasaki university, japan have been with my lab for nearly 5 months now. she's going back this weekend. she did confide to us that she really don't want to go back to japan....how's that for having a good time in malaysia? (^_^)
one ending:
monday was the last day of me tutoring biostatistics class for undergrads. they're such an obedient bunch. although marking their assignments always gave me headaches, it's been nice tutoring them. this also marked the end of my career as a teaching graduate assistant bcoz my contract will be finishing at the end of this semester. hmm....i won't say that i'll be missing it but the experience was priceless. hopefully, the kids did learn something from my class. hopefully.... hehe.
