my supervisor and i. we had this particularly long discussion the other day. during which he was worried over a factor that might negatively affect my experiment results. i pointed out the obvious and actually solved the problem.he looked straight at me and said thoughtfully, "hmm, you're smarter now."
the nearest to a compliment i've ever received from him.
