poxed

came down with chicken pox. "conveniently" i was back home for ayong's engagement tomorrow (ok, i actually had it like 2 days ago while still in penang, but still..). and staying home for recovery is the best thing evah. i mean, which patient has her own doctor and pharmacist (my cousin actually) fussing over her like mine plus my doctor paid for my medications. since relatives were staying at my house, i was pampered. my aunts and uncles kept telling me to rest and practically forbid me to enter the kitchen or help with the preparations or lift a finger. and my cousins were so nice they told me "you just sit and tell us what you want us to do."

i'm a bit guilt-conscious because it's not that i'm terminally ill but it lasted for only a few minutes.

who cares. i'm basking in their attentions. heheh.
